Acueducto rural de Quimbaya es construido progresivamente

El alcalde de Quimbaya, Jhon Édgar Pérez Rojas, aseguró que avanza progresivamente en la construcción del acueducto rural del municipio, dando cumplimiento al fallo de una acción popular que así lo exige. (bajada)

La acción popular interpuesta por un ciudadano y que falló el Juzgado Primero Administrativo Oral del Circuito de Armenia hace más de tres años, obliga a la administración municipal a llevar el servicio de acueducto a todas las veredas de la localidad. (Cabeza)

Pérez Rojas manifestó que el municipio está tomando acciones que permitan ir cumpliendo el fallo de forma progresiva porque es imposible cumplirlo de manera inmediata desde la perspectiva fiscal y presupuestal. “Ya logramos llevar un tramo de acueducto a varias veredas, entre ellas Kerman que conduce a Panaca”.(El cuerpo-material informativo)

El alcalde agregó: “El año pasado en el marco del plan departamental de aguas logramos construir la primera etapa del proyecto de expansión de acueducto hacia la vereda La Montaña con una inversión de 310 millones de pesos, y este año gracias a la gestión que se hizo con el gobierno seccional se logró contratar una consultoría que nos permitirá hacer los estudios, diseños y presupuestos para la expansión de acueducto a ciertas zonas rurales donde se presta el servicio turístico”.(Material de contexto)
